Satin bridesmaid dress
  • I have a silver satin bridesmaid dress that I want to dye hot pink. How can I do this?
  • Hot Fuchsia Acid dye #620 is your best bet. It is beutiful and actually fluorescent. This is a pure color too, so you can't do much to mess it up. Best done on the stove with steaming hot water.

If the dress is 1-3 lbs I would use the entire bottle. If it weighs less than a lb, then use 1/2 a bottle.

I don't think the silver matters. Silver satin barely has any color at all. I don't think it will affect the final color much unless it is pewter very dark silver. Even then, this should still look very good.
