Encaustic is the perfect medium to combine with other materials. This workshop will focus on several materials and techniques to expand any students repertoire and facility working with wax. Some of what we will incorporate include many types drawing materials, pastels, stencils, paper, fabric, photos, image transfer, and oil sticks. Topics to include layering and depth, transparency and opacity, color mixing, finishing techniques and presentation options.
All offered workshops feature some/all of the following Jacquard products: Dye-Na-Flow, Encaustic Medium, Pearl Ex Powdered Pigments and Piñata Alcohol Inks.
